Based in Geneva, Tristan Bartolini holds a CFC in graphic design and a Bachelor's degree in visual communication. He completed his academic journey in 2023 with a Master's degree in Space and Communication from the Geneva School of Art and Design (HEAD).
Science fiction, speculative archaeology, occult narratives and pop culture references intertwine in Tristan's graphic universe and come to life in immersive and audiovisual installations.
By creating fictional spaces, he proposes digressive narrative and parallel realities in which archaeological objects shed light on a forgotten past, an ancestral time when gender, identities and sexualities were not yet normalized. Using space as an interface for queer storytellings, Tristan moves between performance, installation and creation of language systems, constantly questioning and deconstructing heteronormative and binary representations of human history.
