This installation builds upon the inclusive language
framework established in Tristan’s bachelor’s project, transcending its utilitarian function to serve as a narrative instrument. Aligned with Tristan’s commitment to crafting imaginative scenarios that present divergent and queer perspectives on reality, the intention here was to introduce inclusive language into unexpected realms – etched onto monuments.

Recognizing that constructions of gender are inherently constructs, Tristan offers a response through this installation and its meticulously carved objects, imbued with a narrative that diverts from the norm. In doing so, Tristan seeks to forge alternate trajectories and historical scenarios that challenge conventional notions.
